Rear speaker upgrade complete, (Bose)

Just finished the speaker upgrade in the rear, (have Bose)
Together with the Image Dynamics tweeters, 10" sub woofer in 4080's box
XM sat with PIE box all is done now and sounds great!
(These where minor upgrades, not full blow sound systems)

The Infinity speakers where a close fit and only 3 screws hold them down.
I did not reconnect the Bose tweeters.

Looks good. Just remember that those are 4 ohm speakers, the Bose were 2 ohms. So you're only getting half the power with your new speakers.

Yeah, you are right.
But I do not need to turn up the volume to have the same output...
Those Bose speakers must be of a very low sensitivity...
As for the Infinity's they are 92db I believe?
(Not sure, correct me if I am wrong)

Yup, I upgraded to the kappa 693.5i and they are much more sensitive than the Bose.

Did you reconnect the Bose tweeters?

Then I suggest removing them,
I will do the same!
Would save on weight right?
