so i have a winning blue 8 and i wanna redo the interior.. i was thinking of red seats and possibly red carpet.. what does the community think? yay or nay?

anyone know where i could find red carpet made for the 8 and a place in NJ area thats good a upholstery?

go onto www.bmwusa.com and configure a blue 3 series w/ red leather so u can get a feel for what it looks like. u'll need to use the 360 exterior view AFTER u set the interior color.

i dunno...it could look good if done right. do you plan to add accents interior/exterior so it all flows right? If you just plan to get red interior on a blue car may look funny. Are you planning on just getting the red/black combo from another rx8? Or custom work?

There's a 335i that parks in my office parking lot. I could try to get a photo of it so you could get the flavor. I'm not 100% sure it "works", but I don't hate it either.

Then again, I'm pondering red&yellow alcantara for my Lightning Yellow, so perhaps my judgment is suspect to begin with...

I have seen a full bride interior including seats and headliner in a wrb wrx and it looks good I wouldn't see why it would look bad in an 8? its not going to be everyones thing but hey who cares.
