Remote wire into stock head unit

I know it has been asked alot but i cant find a explenation i understand where and how to put the remote wire into the stock head unit. Anyone link me to the thread or help me out?

There is no "remote turn on" connection available on the stock head unit.
I believe people use the rear cig lighter socket as the remote turn on signal source. That will turn on the amp when the key is in the "accessory" position.

you can use just about any wire in the car that is hot while the key is in the 'on' position. I have used various ones in different cars, but all you have to do is pick one and tap it. In my 8 I picked one right behind the ignition. Hope this helps.
