Replacing Top part of dash

I need to replace to the top part of the dash console as you can see in the pic due to a huge ugly crack. I've looked around and i found a new oem for $130 but I still can't find any used ones. What should I expect to pay to replace that part of the dash and where? Or is there is hidden DIY somewhere explaining how to do it?

A while ago I needed one as I removed my navigation system. Used ones do pop up occasionally, but infrequently it seems. I paid about that for a new one, and used ones usually go for a little under a hundred.

As for replacing it; you've got to remove everything from the shifter upwards to get to the screws that hold it in (they're hidden behind other dash pieces). So you remove the front piece of the center console with the shift boot, ashtry, radio, center vents, and finally the top center cover. That center console piece pops off once you take the shift **** off, the rest are essentially screwed in. The radio is locked in by a locking nut on the right side of the driver side footwell, though. You've got to remove that before you can get the radio unit out.

This DIY covers up through removing the radio in steps 1-6: http://www.whatsmyip.org/ipodrx8/
After that, the vents and center cover are easy.

I can have that replaced and back together in 15 minutes. Its clockwork.

Look for someone trying to add o rjust added a CarPC. Many upgrade to the navi housing and ditch that piece.

Or try a junk yard.
