RX-8 Post Op Audio Pictures
Just posting up my audio install for my 8, Components are:
Alumipro 6.5 components front, Infinity Reference 2 way for rear, powered by JL 300/4. JL's circuit give 75x4.
Solobaric L7 8 inch powered by kicker 400/1
It sounds incredibly sweet hooked up to my stock 6 disc HU, but it will get even better once I have my JL clean sweep, i should have it in 2 weeks.
Bass Gain Controller: Stowed away into the ash tray, the cover closes easily and completely to hide the control.

Sub Enclosure Face: I got this idea from looking at the Viper's Speaker Enclosure. A single 8 inch solobaric bandpass lurks behind the clean little screen. The baffle extend to the speaker grill so, there is no trunk rattle and it can pound!

Cleverly Hidden Amps: Remove the center cover and gain access to the Kicker and JL controls.

The Bose system now will make my ears ring...sounds like crap though. My old system put at well over 100db (measured 152.1 during SPL comp, but I'd be deaf if I listened to it like that regullarly and without protection) and never made my ears ring. Wierd huh? I believe the condition is called "listeners fatigue."
You should probably consider turning down your highs, though, unless you want that ringing to be constant one day (tinnitus).
