Where does the hazard switch wire connect?
I bought my RX-8 and noticed the hazard switch didn't work. I went to install an aftermarket stereo and noticed the hazard switch wasn't even plugged in to anything. I looked around and could not find the other end that should attach the hazard light switch...HELP ME PLEASE!

Found it pg. 86/88. Guess I should've looked harder. After some testing I've now verified that the picture of the Bose headunit harness with wire colors on the sticky is correct for my car. Thanks

I suppose for verification I could set my multimeter to AC and probe on the expected audio channel pins of the harness while playing left channel right channel stuff to see what is "left channel/right channel" and what is +/-. Though if the colors match up perfectky when I go to splice in then I'll be confident enough to just do it.

unknown wires connect to the cigar lighter
Hello All,
Whilst trying in vane to swap out my SAS module behind the Radio, I discovered some wires without connectors.
I have remove the ashtray, centre console etc. and disconnected cigar lighter, bulb etc.
There are 2 wires, sheathed, which went back into the dash, connected to the cigar lighter connector.
The 12v has an inline fuse, (same style fuses as main fuse box)
seems to be supply to something
Hadn't noticed it until I pulled the cable to one side and the wire came out.
They have bare ends, like I may have snagged them at some point against a sharp edge and cut them.
not that I remember being the rough.
Although I did get frustrated about not being able to get to the SAS module connectors.
Can anyone tell me where they go ?
Help !!! :-(

Fuel Pump Relay... Power?
I am trying to locate the correct wiring harness under my steering wheel that encompasses the power for my fuel pump. I would like to splice in a kill switch to the lead that comes from the computer after power has been given to turn the pump on. Having the switch off will prevent the wrong people from being able to start my car. This has been a frustrating process because I cannot hold the harnesses when I turn my key (to find it by feel when the pump primes) as I also must depress my clutch to start and the location of the housings would require me to have 3 hands. I know where the the fuel pump relay is in my engine bay and also the fuse that supplies it. My issue is finding the correct harness. If I can find that I can find my lead with my multi metre. Thanks all ! ( I have been reading through threads and believe there is a possibility it is under the driver rear seat? But I believe that is the pump location itself as it is right beside my gas tank vs the actual harness?)

Emergency wire. Orange. Correct location?
I have a photo of the wire I tried to tap into.
is this the correct orange wire to connect to for left and right blinker activation? Or... perhaps I should be connecting to the actual left and right side blinker wires (bright green... but no idea where they are under here).
Just FYI I’m installing the MoboKey alarm system. Everything else is working great! Nice unit

The orange wire flashes the indicators when grounded, in theory.
However it runs to the keyless entry module which is just black magic.
The actual indicators are the green/white and green/black, in this same connector.
