S2 Full Interior Swap

Hi All!

I've been searching for quite some time, so please forigive me if this is well covered, I cant seem to find it either on the forum search or google.

My S1 8 is now 14 years old, 220,000km. The interior is looking pretty shabby, and looking to pull parts from a part out to refresh. Will I be able to use a Series II interior on my car? Seats, Door Panels, Handbrake trim, door and pillar trim, glovebox cover, etc. Is there anything that won't fit? It looks like the one part out I am looking at is a AT, and I drive a MT - so I know the shifter won't work, but the rest of the center console should fit up, just using my shifter through the hole right?

Thank you guys, again really sorry if this has been well handled, I don't know if its my search terms or what, but I cant find anything other then the seats will work for sure.

Thank you!

The dash, fascia and centre console forward section are different. The glovebox, seats and door cards are a straight swap (been there, done that).

Do you mind explaining what is different about the center console? In pictures it looks very similar to me.

Is it purely the connection to the dash that is different?

I have a R3 centre console trim in my Series 1; the forward upper part is raised and flows into the ashtray. So you need to reuse rhe Series 1 piece for that section. The only difference in the rear is that the 12v/120w socket hidden under the forward armrest doesnt plug into the cars harness due to a slightly different connector design. You can easily swap the socket itself with the Series 1 RX-8 12v/120w socket however.
