IL Seat Upgrades?

Am a new RX8 owner and was wondering if anyone has upgraded their fabric seats? Am planning to replace my front seats and am looking for a good upgrade. Something with more padding and support in the seat.
Thanks!

There are a few racing seats available for the rx8. Anyway, the oem seats looks and feels like a racing seats to me already. I don't need to replace it with an aftermarket ones. Just search and you'll find what your looking for, good luck.

you don't find stockers to have insufficient bolstering? when hard cornering I often wish I had some more lateral support.

that said tho for a DD the stock seats do the job and look pretty damn nice.

If you are just looking to stay in your seat better during cornering loads the the way to go would be a CG lock. They should be able to keep you in your seat nicely.

If you are looking for new seats you have three choices for mounting, spend a bunch of money for a shop to build seat mounts, custom fab your own seat mounts or be prepared to pay a good amount of money and time for a bolt in bottom mount from Sparco, Bride or Mazdaspeed. Remember these seat mounts take a Huge load on them I would highly advise against the "one for all tabbed type mounts" or any back yard solutions.

Like my grand father always said, do it once and do it right. If a mount fails it could be you or your passengers life.
