Wow just took a look at the website and the shift boots look great. All my money is going towards my audio system right now but ill try and convince my chick to get me one. Yes I know...I sound cheap. But I want one really bad.
Going to try the Black/Charcoal two tone with quad stitching. Wonder if I can get other things stiched into it. Such as a Mazda logo. With RX8 under it. And the words shift style on the bottom corner. Too much? What do you guys think?
vvvv---something like that (diff font of course)

We fit one directly to the e-brake, and it looked great. Problem is, you would have to ship yours in to have it fit.
So we played around with another idea to finish the bottom of it with velcro. The top has the stitch line, so it can match up well with one of our shift boots and armrest covers.
We'll let you all know once they are available.
Thanks

i'd be down for the e-brake piece once its finished =].
after you guys are done with the e-brake.. i'd like to suggest the door panels and a steering wheel wrap in two-tone letter like the factory two-tone wheel, only with more color choice =]

Sorry about the delay guys, here are the photos:
Notice that there is a non-functional line of stitching on the top, to match up nicely with out shift boots and armrests:
Notice that the bottom is held together by velcro:
We will provide a strip of velcro adhesive that will attach to the lower portion of the handle, and then the cover will fasten to it:
Thank you all again

It's pretty simple to remove should you ever decide to.
Thanks

Looks great. But was really hoping it would be a boot and handle.
Something like this. Would probably be way more expensive though.

Hmmm so the non-functional stitching on the top can be eliminated if wanted.
Another way of attaching would take more work to install but it would look more like the shinka leather parking brake handle.
Lacing the leather material on the top side. Shiftstyle you could create the holes and supply the heavy thread and the purchaser could lace it up to fasten it.

The e-brake handle looks good. Thanks Shiftstyle!
The suggestion by 4 years is a very good one though. I wonder if this is something that's doable... it would really look like the factory option then.
If not, then the current solution will work too. Hopefully the velcro will not slip and holds the cover in place well.

i personally think it looks great w/the stitching...I'd want it w/stitching if anything.
my concern is the velcrow...the car gets hot the adheisive may melt and get a nasty gooie mess to deal with.
