ShiftStyle, a question regarding the e-brake cover:
According to this and this picture, the edges of the cover (the cut lines in the leather) are clearly visible on the top and bottom. I was wondering how could this be made a little less obvious and more OEM-looking. Perhaps it would help if the pattern included a little "overhang" that during the installation would be folded back under the cover before fastening... I mean, in that case those edges would not show a cut line but the folded-in, finished leather. Hope you understand what I mean
Any chance to do that?
Or maybe the fact that there is that slight "trench" at both ends on the e-brake handle would help to make the raw cutline to disappear without such a trickery... for that however, the cover must be cut exactly so that if the mounting is done tightly, the edges would "disappear" in that dip. In the two linked photos, this does not seem to be the case though.
What do you think?

well maybe if we don't get 10 maybe he would be willing to do it for us 5 at the very least....
I personally do want one simply because I wouldlike to be able to get a rear one as well so that everything matches (especially since I'll be showing @ Mazdafest in July at Englishtown, NJ)

If we could agree on something like $50 for the cover, the perhaps we could make this a viable opportunity.
Otherwise, we might have to put the kibosh on this one

Well to put it into perspective I installed my Zeta Products armrest on top of the leather because it is so much more comfortable. Can't live without it. I love how soft the leather is to the touch but the cushioning is necessary after using the Zeta armrest for so long and becoming accustomed to it.
I haven't tried laying cushioning under the leather yet because it will take a bit of time to do. I just hope there is enough leather to make it viable and look clean enough to keep it that way.

Chris, is this the red stitching?
Uhh... once again, it looks like pink on the pictures. I wonder if this is only because of the lighting?
ShiftStyle, two questions... any chance to offer red stitching that's more red than this? The point would be to try to get the color as close as possible to the red interior parts of the RX-8.
And also, would it be possible to use a bit thicker thread than this? It'd look much better, and besides, the stock steering wheel (and the optional leather parking brake too, for that matter) uses pretty thick thread.
I know, I know... seems like I'm hard to please - on the other hand, I'm just about to order so I thought I'd ask before doing so.
