Shock sensor diode

Can anyone take a picture of this?
My kit didn't come with it and I was just planning on going to radioshack and trying a 12v Zener diode if worst comes to worst.

My local Mazda dealer are retards and don't know what I'm talking about.

LOL. What are you talking about? What kit? No. A zener diode probably will work but I doubt it. I wouldn't use a zener for basic isolation duties if thats its intended application.

This is what the part looks like ... it isn't a zener diode though

Also, the circuit will look like

[key control] --- [T tap to shock sensor] --- |< ------ [Trunk light switch

MAKE SURE that the cathode is facing the key control and that the t tap to the shock sensor is between the two or you will fry the shock sensor circuit
