single din dash kit?
Can you put a 2009 rx8 single din dash kit in an '05? If not where can i get one that isnt hundreds of dollars?

Nope. Very different audio systems. You can snag the Metra kit for ~$140 sometimes. Other than that, maybe find a used kit.
