sobwoofers or not
just out of curiosity(i cant spell) who does have a big sized system riding in there trunk? does it mess with performance due to extra weight. And does 2-15" subs with one box fit good?

hahah ummm no,
anything over ten inches will seriously take alot of thinking and time, trunk space is avg. but the opening isn't one to take lightly.
a simple 10 inch should be fine though, i got a jlw7 10" sealed.

I have 2 10" Kicker solo L5's in just a sealed box with a 1000amp kicker amp.. It is uncomfortable to sit inside the car with the bass up. It's like someone's forcing air into your ears.
So I'd say 1 - 10 is probably more than enough.

I have two 12" orion xtr pros with an orion 900 amp.
It is deafening. I had to put the gain down to nothing to be able to tolerate it. Don't get me wrong however. I love it. Take a look. The thread is a DIY.

Hey bob The Eskimo, nice set-up never thought of doing it that way, look deafening!
LakersGG I have yet to install it. everything is done, however i have yet to run the wires, i don't trust myslef and would rather have a shop do it for warrenty purposes, give me about a week to two weeks to get everything inside and i will post pics and a chart including my digression in hearing *per hour!

as far as performance difference. I think the suspension sits about 1/2 inch lower in the rear. The motorized head lights take care of this difference for night driving. Performance I really haven't noticed too much. I think its a bit slower in the low rpms, but telling the difference at high rpm is not possible from my high tech butt dyno.
