Stereo/Radio doesn't work??

Stereo won't turn on, it worked perfect before I unplugged it to put an airbag modulator in for my new airbags. Now after that's done I plug it back in start my car and it doesn't turn on, the ac works and the hazard lights work too but the music and radio doesn't work? Also one of the inputs for the stereo is still there without a wire in it, I tried searching for the wire and it wasn't found anywhere, so I was just thinking if that was for a gps or something. I need answers please

Lol make sure the faceplate is secure against the head unit. I took my 8 to best buy for a cheap ipod integration, when i got it back they had over tightened the screws that fasten the black faceplate to the headunit and the metal anchors pulled out of the plastic resulting in poor connection between the faceplate and metal part of the headunit. I had to push on the volume button to get it to work for awhile then i just went in and glued the anchors back in. Youll see what im talking about when you take a look at the radio from the back.
