Still no Navteq update... Over 2 years old

2004-2005 Navigation
I had lengthy conversation with my Local Dealership week of January 21, 2008, and they shared information provided by Mazda USA. Mazda USA is aware no NAVTEQ DVD Disk has been released for resale since version 2005.1. Mazda cannot provide any useful information until a Service Agreement is signed with NipponDenso. NipponDenso appears to be the only company with the resources to support the Navigation Equipment installed in 2004-2005 Mazda vehicles. 2006-2008 Mazda vehicles are unaffected, because the Navigation Equipment in these vehicles is of a different brand.
The NipponDenso Mazda Service Agreement seems to have stalled. Its been approximately two-years and counting. Is there anyone with experience to organize a mass mailing? I figure if enough people complain about it; it might escalate the issue with Mazda USA. As far as Im concerned, the Mazda is not doing enough to support the expensive accessory to our vehicle.

You could try to get members on this forum to call & email both Mazda and Nippon, but I really doubt that would accomplish much. They're not going to waste time and money updating a 5 year old nav system (car has been available since 2003). I wonder how many people actually ended up purchasing the 2005 update anyway. Probably less than 500?
