stock MP3 Cd Player picky about CD-R's ?
Hey all,
I bought my RX-8 in feb and have been loving it ever since. The one big disappointment is the $600 MP3 'option' that i traded my 6 disc changer in for.
It seems to have a really hard time reading discs I've been burning as of late. I've tried 3 different brands of CD-R's, and I get the same thing. once i place the disc in, it says "CHECKING DISC" on the LED and it gets stuck there.
It seems to read AUDIO cd's ok, but the actual MP3 cd's (same brand of CD-R) it has problems with.
And it's only sometimes! One brand I tried 2 or 3 discs that failed to read, but I had an older disc already in my collection that played no problem!
Also, I thought you were supposed to be able to see track information from the ID3 tag, this has never worked for me. Is it possible my CD Player is defective?
