Smile Sub and Amp with factory radio??

I've searched through the audio threads and not really finding anything to help out. I have the Bose system and was wondering if a sub and amp can be hooked up to it, and if so how to do it?

No offence dude, but GRRRRRR. You did not search very hard at all. Add Audio Control 6XS to your search and see what pulls up. If you only knew.....

If I buy from here what would be the best way to go?

So all I have to do with that setup is connect it to the rear speakers then I'm able to hook up an amp? Will that be safe or should I go in a different route?

And we all thought the bose question was never gonna be asked again. I haven't seen it asked for a while. You really didn't search, anyway liten to forbidden, he really knows his stuff. just search most of the threads he's posted on.

Nope, it's impossible, deal with the stock system forever. Sorry bud. Probably should have asked before you bought the car!

Lets all just be an A$$, and yes I have searched for the 6sx or what ever the hell it is and nothing that really helps. The only thing I found in a thread that helped was the link that I posted and now I would like to know which one is the best choice out of them. An actual answer would be GREAT!!!

you just need something to send a signal to the amp(s), we did mine with a line in (soundgate I think, cars in the shop so I can't go look) so I've got factory highs and 2 dvc 10s off a class d for the lows. As long as you get a signal to your amp your fine .

Try 6XS instead of 6SX. Also try these. It takes a lot of reading, but it has to be done. Either one will work fine, but it depends on what you will want to do w/ your entire system.

Smile

I used an Audio control L8 to take my factory Bose signal and seperate it into Dolby 5.1 and still give me RCA outs for all 6 channels. It even comes with a bass control ****. It is the cleanest system I have seen with full gain control and no delay!!!
