Subwoofer Enclosure That Fits
#1
![Question](https://www.rx8club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Is there a sub-woofer enclosure that would fit in the trunk of my 04 Rx8 with my rear sway bar still in place? I can't seem to find one. I'm starting to believe all I can do is get one custom made.

So what are you looking for then? Why not just get rid of the rear strut bar, it's pretty much useless anyway.
and then get this:

Or get a bass tube.

I have a "Magic Box" and it fits perfectly, and a Beatrush strut bar. http://www.wickedcas.com/product.php...&cat=20&page=1

I vote for the 4080 box. Here's my dual 4080 box setup: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/jedis-bose-stereo-upgrade-103771/

Well, I guess it depends on the 12" subs. On average you are looking at 30-35lbs for 2, plus the weight of the box and amp(s). I've been there too...it really makes a huge difference. Even in your MPG and regular acceleration. However if massive pounding bass is what you want than go for it.
This was my setup...way too heavy so I sold it. http://altspacerx8.blogspot.com/2007...ine-plv-7.html

Just does not look right to me is all. It would seem more complete if a cover was in place, maybe with a cutout and some lexan if you want to see the amp. Without one it takes away the beauty of the interior.

and i have gotten several complements on the sleekness. It blends in with my limited edition interior..
