subwoofer setup on stock deck?

subwoofer setup on stock deck?
is it possible? i can get a whole setup for 50 bucks from a friend and i was just wondering if it is possible to do so with the stock deck. its a 600 watt amp with a 10'' sub

yes it will, but get another amp for ur other speakers or else all u'll hear is bass trust me i started up like u. right now i have a 1600 watt amp,ported 10 hooked up to stock non bose speakers and it sounds waaaaaay better.u'll need a lil extra lil things to hook it up to stock head unit though.im not an expert so i havent a clue on what they're called.

This is a very good place to start. You will need a Line-Out Converter to tap into the stock head unit. Depending on if you have the Bose or non-Bose will determine what to go with and where to tap in. Read the sticky I just posted and you should be able to find all the answers.
