i am assuming 1 sub to each amp. for labor, around here you would be looking at 55 for each amp, and about 30 for the cap. that doesnt include materials, such as power wire, connectors, rca's, box etc. if the second amp is running front and rear speakers, then you would be looking at an additional 25 bucks. again, not including materials.
btw, did your friend ever decide what he wanted to do for his system?

yeah, that looks about right, but i just saw your other thread. your shop told you that 1 500/1 was enough to run 2 10w6v2's. thats odd, each w6 is rated at 400 watts, and the 500 is only 500 watts, so that leaves us about 300 short. its always better to over power a sub than underpower it. i would either have that second 500/1 installed or go with w3's.
i think if you get rid of the one 500/1, youll be kicking yourself in the butt later.

I don't know if this will help, but perhaps you can use it for comparison purposes.
I had 2 7" kickers, 1 amp and no other materials. The subs came mounted in a custom box that fit in the trunk. My friend did the entire installation (it's his side business) and he charged me $80.

ok, when we really sold jl out of the store, we would do 1 500/1 per 10 or 12 w6v2, or a 1000/1 for 2. you can run the 2 on 1 amp, but if you already have the amp, use it, it wont be that much more to install it, and there will be less chance of blowing your subs from too much distortion. def get jl's take on it, but they will probably say the same thing
