Total closure unit

Is a total closure unit available for the RX 8? It closes all open windows and sunroof when the car is locked by the remote. My previous car had one and i'm struggling without it!

they have aftermarket ones made by DEI Model 529T (sunroof) and 530T (windows). can be hooked to the factory alarm triggered off the locking wire.

I am interested in doing this as well since it is such a cool mod! BMW's have this on all their cars from the factory.

Wait, would you still be able to use the factory remote by doing this? Also, are those just boxes that you hook up to the sunroof and to the windows? Thanks.

Thanks Juice,i thought it would be alot easier! Seems like a big job but could be worth it. Might tie it in with an alarm as well?

Yeah, its a bit of work, but not too bad.

Also, if you didn't see it there was someone in that thread that used a receiver and tied the window modules to the factory remote. I think he had it so when you pressed the lock button twice it closed the windows and if you hit the unlock button 3 times it rolled them down.

Juice is right. ur able to wire them open triggered by the lock wire in the drivers kick panel. (believe its red/green or light green if you have the one without the factory alarm). its perfect for the sunroof because its one touch to open. as for closing and for the windows you need an aftermarket alarm because you need the additional channels for closing since you have to hold each button to do it. The alarm allows it to open the circuit open for say five secs (the time it allows o fully close the windows and sunroof.

BTW the gun metals wheels look sharp on you 8.

Thanks and thanks for the info. What would I do if I already have the Rotary Rasp sunroof mod which make the sunroof open and close by one touch? I don't want to waste money if I decide do all these things.

No clue what a rotory rasp is. Does it just make it so the buttons are one touch both ways?
