TV in RX-8
I am getting an RX8 in a month.. believe it or not I actually sell mazdas. I know, becuase there isn't much difference in body styles, and because I want a stick, I will more than likely get a preowned model.
We have a blue 05 with 10k miles on it, a new 05 that's red that's loaded w/o nav, and a canary yellow 04 with 45k miles but has a new engine as of 3 days ago.
However, the issue I am having is that I would like to have a TV in my car. Is the best option to go with is just the navigation system and put a TV turner in it? None of these have navigation.. I have only seen 2 that do in my entire time working there

cell phones, ipods, navigation systems, food and sods, and now a TV in the mix.
to each their own but there is already so much crap to distract a driver a TV wouldnt help, i certinely wouldnt want to be driving around ANYONE that was watching tv as they drove down the road.

Lost, some of this depends on what you want. If you want a display for the front seats, the only really clean way is to use the Mazda NAV system display. Otherwise the choices are mounting an LCD on your dash, or using some of the very expensive and intrusive stereo replacements that you can see outlined in ths forum.
