I may get under mine and take pictures of my wire harnesses to show you guys what I mean. The wire harness that goes to the motorized tracks has 5 wires that aren't getting any type of connection... and my seat wouldn't power up. Again not a big deal my swap is done my seat is just on manual tracks.
Some of those wires connect to the various motors on the power seat mechanism itself. By the end of it, you should have two exposed lines coming off the seat, both of which plug into the harness coming out of the carpet.

well I have a bunch of unused now that I'm not using the electric tracks... but yea before I was left with only 2 and was stumped as to why it did not work other than the 2 plugs were different... when I say different again the plugs go together they are meant to go together but they were just wired differently. I'll get pics over the weekend maybe. I'm happy with the way they are.

We do leather kits at the shop I work at and I know with Nissan if you don't disconnect the battery when taking out seats it throughs the airbag light on. Only way for Nissan is to have the dealership, or someone with the proper scan tool, to clear it.
Most other makes are smart enough that when it sees the circuit is good the light turns off. We learned the hard way with Nissan before we did any Mazda's so I'm not sure if it needs to be cleared by the dealer.
A couple cars we have had to disconnect the battery again for about 30 minutes to clear it.

Thanks.
After looking closer I have come to realize with about 99.9% certainty it's the passenger side seat belt. I thought it was coming from the driver's side but everything is fine there. The bags are almost impossible to hook up incorrectly, they have their own harness. I'm pretty sure my seat belt is either one, not plugged in or maybe the plug isn't seated all the way. Then I'll try a batt disco again and see from there.
