I pmed him again about my question. He's telling me the exhaust trim is made of "stainless 304", and he has no other picture of the item than the one on their site. And if this "stainless 304" looks like chrome, I don't want them. That is my question, unfortunately my thread happent to be a place where you tell jokes to each other.

looks like a bad picture to me...look how grainy it is
the exhaust tips are even dull, and they aren't supposed to...which leads me to believe it's a crappy picture.

whatever tho, what do I know?

ok, deep breaths now......

everything is going to be ok.

at least he actually gave you an answer, unlike many vendors out there. But like I said, what do I know, maybe he is correct. That's just how it appears to me, and I have never heard of another version of the exhaust finisher.

What kind of vendor tells you to emigrate when you are asking about the import taxes?
What kind of vendor tells you " all the best to you 2009" when you are asking about a product?

This is unbelievable!

Are you kidding me, "Game over"?
You can't explain what your products look like to a customer, you think im playing games? I dont need your suggestions about hobbies, you can start to help your customers instead.

Best to you too

Well, immigrating would definitely change the whole import tax thing. Over here, when someone wishes you "all the best in 2009" so close to the beginning of 2009 we take it as gesture of good faith, aka "HAPPY NEW YEAR".

Hope this helps,
Shell

Yes, I'm aware of that. But the picture isn't the best quality, All I was asking for was if the trims looked like chrome or not. Simple as that.

Graham was very clear earlier when he wrote the description of the part

Part description clearly states this is Stainless 304; the part is brushed Stainless rather than polished

best

GW

and it is very clear on the site "brushed" stainless is just that- NOT POLISHED. so it looks like that in the pic because it is NOT the polished piece we get in the states but a BRUSHED finish which is dull in appearance. just like there is a brushed gas lid cover

and a polished gas lid cover

perhaps a little less typing and a little more reading is what is required.

On a somewhat related note, Game over typically implies, "I'm done wasting my time with your stupid a$$ questions. I've provided you all the information I have, our policies are fairly well described on our website, and if you don't like something you don't have to fsking buy it."

All well said imho. I tried to understand your point of view and see where it got me?

"Game over, man!"

ok then, zoom cleared it up, I was not aware there were 2 versions of the finisher. I stand corrected and apologize for the confusion.

THANK YOU for your beautiful explaination! Really, why couldnt he just say so.
That's why I was confused, because many thought and told me that it was the same exhaust trim which rx8strakes.com had for instance. This is what I wanted to know.
And I tried to ask GW for this, I don't know why he gave me those other answers.

05rex8, it wasn't just you who thought it was the same product..

yeah i thought it was the same piece we get in the states, polished.

after looking back though, GW did say brushed not polished. Seems that even some of us who've been around a little while(me) - should take what our respected vendors say for just that

I did say so; + I've sent you 3 x PM's to reinforce the fact ( checked your PM's? )

No offense, your agenda appears to be to simply waste our time ( you succeeded ) and communication would be greatly enhanced if we didn't have to tell you everything more than once; and in different ways, so you get the "meaning"

Taking offense at us wishing you a Happy New Year??

That's English for: "We hope 2009 works out to be very good for you"

I'm sure there's some equivalent in Swedish
