Question Will MP3 player display any chinese/japanese words?

I prob knew the answer will be NO. But does the MP3 support character of Traditional Chinese or Japanese? I order mine from the Aussie dealer... any different if I order in Japan?

What info in the MP3 clip do the player display?

I am getting it soon so preparing my collection of downloads from song sites. Most info is not filled in so a lot of work to be done I guess, right?

Pressing the DISP button cycles through the following displays:
  • Disk#, Track#, Time
  • File name
  • Directory name
  • Album title
  • Track title
  • Artist
I have no idea if it handles Kanjii characters.

The MP3 player will play regular data disks on both CD-R and CD-RW media. You don't need to convert back to audio format - that would defeat the primary purpose of the MP3 player, which is the ability to hold many times the content of a regular audio disk.

You won't hurt your player by using cheap media. The worst that can happen is it'll have trouble reading the data and either jump within the track or simply skip to the next track altogether. I'm using cheap "home brand" CD-RW's from CompUSA - I simply erase them and blow another random selection when I tire of the current one.
