XCarlink interference
Hi all
I have a series 2005 RX8 with the Xcarlink installed directly into the factory head unit as normal. The unit works very well and the sound is good. I have noticed one issue though. When my lights are no i.e I am driving at night, I can hear a high pitched whine/buzz which remains constant and does not change. It is not as audible at the lower volume levels , but is noticeable in the quiet sections between tracks or if the track is a quiet track.
It sounds like interference. I have done some research and it has been mentioned on other forums. Mine does not change pitch or speed. It is the same at all times. the minute I switch off the lights it's gone. normal Factory CD is fine as is FM and AM radio. It is only the Xcarlink that seems to produce this problem.
Just interested if anyone else has heard it or found a solution?
Cheers
