Anyone know if this will work on the 2004 models or higher?

Oh, ok. I thought that our head unit's were Panasonic for the non-bose. I bought a 6 Disk head unit out of a Protege 5 for my RX7 and it was a Matsushita Kotubuki (Panasonic).
Do you know who makes our head units then? They make these adaptors for Pioneer, Kenwood etc.

FMS audio makes it but the parts are all over the map...regardless it is a new system and proprietary to mazda
right now the PIE Maz/Alp adaptor is pretty much what we have...it is M-bus alpine connection so if you can find an XM radio that interfaces with Mbus you are good to go
please know it won't work with AI net
if you want you could just get the Pie adaptor and get the cables and have a clean auxiliary input but would need to control the sat radio by hand on seperate unit...like the Roady 2 which is nice because you can take it out of the car and use it at home or other vehicles !
