I myself am in the middle of rebuilding my motor. I have the esmeril kit but i chose to get a differnt wastegate. I am using the esmeril seals, cryo treated rebuild kit from Atkins, and will be running meth injection. I live somewhat close to chris so i plan on having him tune and see if we can hit the 400whp mark on 15lbs. Keep in mind i will most likely jsut tune to 15lbs and dial it back to drive around on. This is pretty much the same setup your talking about. I suppose we will see how it does and if esmeril will get another 400whp dyno

OK class is in session, we may almost be up to 4th grade level after this thread closes but for now explain first what your issue is with turbo (chris has already offered the upgrade for more money of course but if I wanted to go that route).
After that we are going into Dowell 101. You guys have been a plethora of great info, I feel Like I have a lot better basic understanding of this engine, and of course will become intimate with it upon building, for now I need that foundation so I am good with basics leading into more. keep it coming. I love this community and brettus' *****

Good to know you like my ***** - wait - what did I say ? LOL
I think Chris sells a high quality turbo as an extra - don't get the stock one as people have had issues with that turbo . BNR also makes a suitable turbo for that kit . Not sure of the sizing but go smaller if you get the chance.
Having driven with a kit with a much smaller turbo I have to say that it is a much better setup for a street driven car than going for the big turbo that comes with the Esmeril kit ......IMO Check out the highest horsepower FI thread and if you can read a dyno you will see what I'm getting at.
Dowell , well I know what I would do (after trying someone elses idea that didn't work) but it is as yet untried so if you did it you would be the guinea pig. PM me if you are interested .

correct, thats somewhat my plan. want to be able to dial it up if i feel the need. I am kinda in the mix on what turbo to upgrade to down the road though. I was thinking the BNR upgrade to the esmeril turbo that i read about on here. I am still unsure though on what i would like. Thats all in good time though. Would jsut like to get everything up and running and make sure all is going to go well before i swap out the turbo.
