Unstoppabledrew,
Thank you for your congratulations!
But Robert (rgonza) do this swaps as a hobbie, he tell me that he is not thinking on making
a lot of 20B RX8's as a business. Probably he is goin to make another car on a few months for one of his friends. this friend of Robert haved and STI and sale it to buy a RX8 to make the 20B swap. He already buyed the RX8 but I don't know when the swap begins.
I'm goin to help robert finding the parts and anything that he needs........
On my car the whole swap process taked 2 months, considering all that is involved he maked it very fast!

Even if they don't do a full production run, you might be able to get some made at the same time.

Yesterday we goes to the 1/8 mile race track,
We feel good because we was running near 1.5 sec faster that a STI that was there, and faster than a lot of mustang's.
We run a 8.32 but we would put the car on the high 7 with small changes.
The engine has only 1,800 miles so we're running it rich as a pig with FAR of 10.0 or lower.
Robert sets the engine that after 8,000 rpm the engine is braking with gasoline.
My extimate it's that the car is making near 400-425 hp with 8 psi of boost,
we would try to set it to run high 7 with the current boost before goin to run it with higher boost.
The guy of the STI can't try to run with our Rx8!
On my first run of the nigth a SRT-4 goes inmidiedly to the line with me thinking
and Rx8 "this would be easy" he lost for at least 4 or 5 car lenghts!

the best times I maked was launched only at 2,000 rpms. If I launch it at 5,000 rpms the tires don't grip to much. Until now I'm still learning launching the car with this tires.

My best 1/8th is 8.5sec at 84mph with the Greddy turbo and interceptor x(microtech). Although the boost falls off to 7psi in high rpms.
Any plans to take it to a 1/4mi track?

Adrian,
We would run the 1/4 mile after we put more miles on the engine it has like 1,800 miles only.We need to make a really good maps on the ECU. Rigth now we're braking
the car with gasoline after 8,000 rpms to protect the engine. So we're not getting
all the power from him, we also have some problems with traction.
We still testing with the car.
Your times with the greddy looks really good!
That is the best time I see on the 1/8 mile for the greddy.
regards,
Manuel
