in my case I use 850cc primary injectors and 1600 cc secondary injectors
and two bosh fuel pumps one 042 the other 044.
the other part are all custom, you would need to buy a lot of fittings.
you would need to make custom fuel rails, custom fuel lines, custom return line,
etc etc. all depends on we're you whant to locate the pumps on the car.

Chris,

Hey guys can you please answer me a question..
I am widening my 8 so there are two solutions.
- can have spacer for the rear for arround 6cm
or
-order wider rims(10.5) and have a tyre arround 285/30/19(toyo) or 295/35/19(there are not 295/30 toyo here)...
Well my question is with 500hp crank arround will this 295 or 285(i have 235/35/19 front) be able to turn spin and have very good performance or i ll have a 0-60 arround 7sec????

with my 19'' wheels I use a /30/ toyo tires and the car spin in all the gears
at high rpm's.............
I suggest to use a higher tire like /40/ tires to have less spin.

bettween "285/30 rear or better 295/35" for me the higher tire would be better 295/35
for traction but I have no idea if they would fit on the 8.
more important than the wide is the compound of the tire...................
in 19" size is so difficult to find a tire with low compound.
In my case for the drag track I use BF goodrich drag radial's
I use them with 18" wheels because they are not available on 19 wheels.

Why they should't fit??19*10.5 rim it can fit perfectly and as i said 6cm estimated wider fenders all around!
Well yous suggest bigger than i though!!
I was just asking cause i don't want with 500hp to have low times cause the tyre is so wide...I m happy you say it would be still a fun car and not a table of suspension-not turning anywhere...Thanks Manuel..
I believe 285/30 is better cause it is very close to the stock and the Revs per Mile would be the same something that in the 295/35 case is very very different..I believe 5km slower than stock...

In my case I would prefer the taller tire.....................
for better traction on the stop ligths or in the drag tree.
I understand that before changed to bigger tires, make the most difficult part
the engine swap.
regards,
Manuel

you don't need 3 rotors for 200mph,
Luis from dragon motorsports in Florida have a 2 rotor 205mph Rx-7.
http://www.dragonms.com/
In the island the people that moficates their Rx-7 and Rx-8 basically
thinks on 1/4 miles times, but I don't see why we can't have a 200 mph
Rx's our problem is that we don't have to many streets for run a 200 mph RX.
rgonza, runs 175 mph on his 3 rotor Rx-8 without any effort,
probably he can set the car for 200 mph............

Hey Rgonza,RX8PR, I was looking over the clearance from the power steering cylinder to the bottom ecentric shaft pulley, I don't hink there is 4" there.. Does that need to be moved forward also and does that throw off steering control at higher speed or bump steer... Rich

RX8PR, Help me understand this alittle better..My thought was that if you extend the cross member , the tie rod ends at the wheel still stay the same, and if thats true we now have these rods that are on an angle.. If I'am wrong please explain... If the wheel base is 106" and we now have a new cross member the extends the power steering cylinder by say 4", that's changing the ends to that much of an angle because the wheels are still unchanged.
I guess I just need to know that the steering is going to be un affected by this change..
Let me know if this theory is full of SH" or not...

Today was the last meeting with my mechanics...The job will be extremely expensive..I didn't imagine that cost...
The main features will be:
- Motec or electromotiv ecu(We wanted jmc but its extremely expensive)as standalone cause motec said tehy will send us special units with adaptors so we ll remove the stock ecu completely.
- Fuel pump and all the fuel injectors will be changed
- Custom headers
- Custom intake
- Custom intercooler
- Custom pipes so we won't have any room problem in any condition
Expected whp will be arround 400-450 without rebuilding the motor..
The job will be in one month from now if we handle the cost and want to proceed nad from then we just need 1month maximum to have it ready!!
So i am asking here too..Rob+Manuel(u both have pms :D ) what about the renesis reliable turbo project? How is this going?Any news?Is the renesis strong enough to handle for many thousand kms such power without changing anything in it with rebuild???

The blue RX8 project is 80% finished, rgonza was so busy at work that
the project taked a few weeks more but the car was started already!
to keep the project on a reliable way we would keep the car on the 350 hp at the wheel
I don't see a 450 hp RX8 project reliable.
we're using a Haltech ECU on this project that is less expensive than motec,
on my car we used a electromotive TEC3r and is also less expensive.
rgonza don't have any interest on make a "turbo kit" for the Rx8 for sale,
make a custom work is so different than try to make a kit to sale it.
he is working rigth now on our cars trying to make and spacer to change the transmission for a better one.
also this week we're goin to change my car's manifold gasket and other things
sorry for the delay,
I was on a business trip for a week I'm right now at the Venezuela Aiport waiting for my fligth to PR..........

Hey Manuel...Do you know if there is any rx8 with renesis but with rx7's rotors in it working??
I am thinking doing that when its time for a rebuile sometime in the future and to be totally safe with my turbo setup...Is this job doable???
