The point here is when you decide your ready for more than 310rwhp you wont have to replace the turbo, or manifold or intercooler etc. simply add to what you already installed!

I like the sound of that. Would it be the same price or does customizing it like that move it up the scale?

Defiantly get the trans and turbo first, a lot of women will try to talk you out of it.

are there dyno charts available for the new trim-level options? what about the different hot side setups, which you mentioned you could modify according to the customer's wishes?

this looks to be a great option! i'm glad it's being released.

Unfortunately no dyno's with the smaller hot sides at this time.

Until the release of this series most of the guys running our kits are split into two different groups. Those that want the ability to run 350+ rwhp from the get go or guys that were less than happy and have removed their greddy or upgraded greddy kits.

Actually just last week a customer shipped his car in from Alberta Canada for a switch to a Type2 Ver2 kit.

So if these "300 series" kits upgrade type 1 and type 3, what is this type 2 ver 2 you keep talking about?

We revised the Type2 kit to further increase the efficiency. A larger intercooler with some new internal mods, larger heat exchanger with dual fans, new optional rotor shaped AST for the intercooler allowing you to pack the AST with ice!

No, same price even though the components are more expensive for me. This kit in the 300series would be about $7400, let me get a pic.

Type 2 Ver2 pics.

This a picture of Roland and Vickys car in from PA.

Although it's not quite done I expect to start street tuning it this week then we will do the final lookover and cleanup before it ships back to them.

It looks beautiful. Good to see new kits that are in my realistic price range.

Thanks Falken, the rotor shaped AST is the actual outer dimensions of the rotor inside the engine. We thought it would not just function well but also make a good conversation piece at car shows.

This is nice to see. A step wise approach to satisfying your urge for grunt should help keep folks from getting jaded as quickly.

You might as well just pull the pin and get the full kit...you're just postponing the inevitable

whats the advantage to packing it with ice? i cant think the ice would last long enough for track use, so i guess what only leaves drag racing. i mean, i know drag racers pack ice individually for each race, but to set it for an rx8 seems unlikely. obviously rx8s drag race, i drag race, but it just seems unusual to make products specifically for rx8s drag racing.
