4.777 gears & nitrious?

Well I'm doing a well tuned n/a motor about 205whp+ adding 4.777's final drive would make it great. Now i was thinking why not make it better and Adding a 55 shot wet nitrous system?

Now heres the thing Do you guys think that those gears and nitrous would be a good thing or would the gears be to short ?

I would be pretty interested to buy it if it's in good condition? no leaks or anything

how much are you willing to sell it for?

So originally you were asking if you could go with shorter gear ratios and nitrous(4.77) and now you want to go with longer gear ratios (4.10) and nitrous.

What exactly were you trying to accomplish? I think one of these will definetely help more than the other.

No, he is going for the shorter gears, another guy thread jacked him and asked about longer gears, and the responses have been to that post.

yeah, i just want my car to be a well tuned n/a 8 with a lil bit of n20 for extra power..

I'll be ordering my 4.77's and i was just wondering if the gears would be TO short with the nitrous setup but from what it looks like i should be fine and have won fast 8 =]

the nos is a better investment than the gears...

i would run the nos with stock gears and see how it goes.. think 4.77 would be way to much for that kind of power unless you are going to put some BIG tires on it.

beers

Alright.. well before i go ahead with the Nitrous, What do you guys think about me taking my car to like a mechanic that has expierence with nitrous and having them check my internals , seals , leaks etc?

Because even though 75 shot would be safe with stock internals, I'm not going to take any risks.

Planning on doing a 55 shot though. So what do you guys think? should i take it in to be checked out.

I've seen all the threads so I'll try this one more time, where are you planning on getting your gears (Feed, S2000, Kia)? I asked the question for a reason. Some will work and others will not. I thought maybe I could save you the money and time.
Wow, first time someone has thrown the search card at me.

I was planning on going with the Kia gears. What makes you say that they wont work though?
