I plan on running new fuel rails and lines and AN fittings on the engine side as well. And incorporating this pulsation dampner:

it made me chuckle seeing that you might go adaptronic...
After all that I've seen so far the adaptronic is pretty awesome. There is a semi-local (about an hr) guy who is running one on his 20b swapped FD.

Yeah I definitely would never purchase from Turdblown, even though I think they are the master distributor but still. I am not sold 100% on it yet, but it seems to be the best option for a street car.

Have you played with it much yet? Steve Kan became a dealer as well and has tuned on/with it. Are you using a flex fuel sensor or just getting your own fuel somewhere?

I am also pretty sure the Zeitronix Flex Fuel sensor Adaptronic recommends is just a standard sensor like this but marked up $100.00 or so plus shipping.

Haven't touched the car much since June when my Dad passed. Have the parts and am trying to get back on it again. Just buy a GM sensor as pictured, same thing and cheaper.

Totally understandable. I plan on driving the car for a while and enjoying it a bit before I tackle this. For now I will just start stock piling parts and reading.

Not meaning to jack your thread but are either of you using ID's in the primary positions? Just wondering if/which will fit due to the depth.

Awesome link, thanks. I did recently buy the Russel part to test them out and was impressed.

Did you see the other style with the slotted/threaded end piece rather than plastic? You can get them in both AN and SAE hose ends

The Adaptronic allows you to setup between 1-3 staged injector pairs. Maybe you should explain to us why it makes sense to run 6 injectors of some OE and/or aftermarket combination rather than 2 (NA) or 4 (FI) IDxxxx injectors designed for E85 use?

Because I haz no Adaptronic and I am looking for options other than OE for the primary position. I would very much be interested in exploring deleting the primaries entirely. Just thought I'd ask about fitment since you both were discussing ID. Moving along now...

The ID1000 fits in the P1 position, maybe the smaller ones too (please confirm before ordering), but it will idle fine so no need for less. ID1300/2000 does not fit there because injector bodies are a shorter design than the others.

You could get 1300's to fit, you just have to know what hats and cups to use on them.

The ID1300 doesn't fit in the P1 position as supplied by Injector Dynamics in the RX8 fitment. I went through all this last year with Tony @ T1

That's why I said you have to know what hats and cups to use... maybe you didn't read my entire post.

I read your post. Did you read mine? What cups and hats are you referring to that Paul Yaw is not familiar with? The ID1300 body length between the connector and discharge end is a lot shorter. You cannot just extend the discharge end infinitely. It depends on the discharge spray angle relative to the pass-thru hole diameter and length down into the intake port. Then the overall injector length with the rail connector end also comes into play.

I'm not saying it can't be made to fit with a custom solution. Injector Dynamics told me that they can't/won't configure it as a PnP fitment in the P1 position. What they supplied me does not fit there just as they said because the P1 position is machined down into the center iron and shrouded around where the ID1300 injector body needs clearance. If you can make a custom end to fit it in there without the spray pattern running into the pass-thru hole wall and dribbling into the port then it will also need a modified fuel rail because the overall length will increase over OE.

If you have a solution then let's see it.

I will have to say your car has to be one of the cleanest and well put together 8s out there. Quite an inspiring build, hope to see the car in person one day.
