would like to hear from him if he decides to part ways with it 🙏

Hey team! Miss our email conversations. I ended up selling the car with a low mile s2 engine for 10k. The new owner changed the wastegate and ECU. He just make 378hp at 13 psi on a stock keg. He is a rotary enthusiast and I feel lucky it was sold to a good owner. (Would have rather sold it to you my friend)

Was wondering what you’ve been up to Hoss. Hope all is well.
Sorry though; thought you still had your RX8 having never heard of you selling it. Those are some nice numbers. 👍
Because I was referring to 9k’s former RX8 and my desire to own it, but likely would have considered your RX8 too had I known.

what is this page a BMW love-fest.
it is funny I went the other way from twin turbo B5 Audi S4 with 400 ft lbs of torque to RX-8. massive torque is fun if you daily your car but RX-8 is much more fun on the track and now days I daily drive electric car which gives me max torque from 0 rpm :-) and zero maintenance to boot is nice.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell... My RX-8 was fun at the track, but my 110HP Miata runs faster lap times and is even more fun as an overgrown go kart. My E46 is also faster and is more fun in a drift-tastic chassis vein.
I really thought I would sorely miss my RX-8, but I only miss it in the "I owned it for 8 years" kind of way. Surprisingly, I don't want it back.
Ironically, BMW has some of the worst reliability ratings in the industry at the moment, and so we traded one unreliable car for potentially another one. I won't take my M235 to the track, because we see so many modern turbocharged Bimmers leave on flatbeds.
For some reason, these lose half their value in only 2 years. I paid $25K for mine with only 11K miles on it.
Nice my E90 is an N55 as well with 127,000 hard miles on it. Great engine, currently at 440WHP on the current turbo with a new slightly larger turbo on the shelf waiting to go in. And yeah the M235i value took a plunge big time when the M240i was released, the B58 is a beast of an engine. I am planning on buying an M240i soon.
