I am good, what time you thinking 2-3ish (I am game anytime after lunch if you want to do earlier)?

do you have any interest in me bringing the grinder and sharpening the bit to see if that works?

Between 2-3 is cool. We can try drilling it, at this point what the hell There is a chance the engine shop will pass on attempting to fix it. I'll send you a text so you have my number.

I think this bolt is suffering from threadlock - I had a similar thing happen over here ...

Shady's solution.

Heat it up with a torch allow to cool for 15 mins then apply CRC freeze off and try the impact driver going both directions.

All else fails we tear apart your engine get a new iron, port it and install.

Also have you tried using a center punch, then redrilling?

I have tried the center punch, punch tip is flattened. Went and bought a "high quality" punch from Northern in it bent rather than punch. It's the hardest bolt on the planet. This one is ported, I wanna keep it!

If you have a dremel it's easy as pie.

Trace out the ports get some dye and off you go, or you can use my RB templates.

I'm just saying as a worst case scenario.

Can I just say...

You have horrible luck with engines, that said I have faith that you will pull this through.

If you want another pair of eyes on it over the weekend don't hesitate to call.

It's a test. I have had two bolt related nightmares in a life of wrenching and they have both been on this car. But I'll pull through it, I just needed to step away from her for a few days.

Houstonrx8 is the man, thanks again for the help. The engine is at the engine shop and they are pretty sure they can remedy the situation. So I will wait to hear back from them and then if it's good news then it's on like donkey kong.
