I actually cleaned up and painted the stock bar to put it back on because the four point bar I have is such a PIA to install, remove.

check out this log.l][/QUOTE]

if you highlighted an area that you know is producing the misfire - the log may be useful .I suspect that there were none on that log though ? Otherwise it looks pretty normal and doesn't tell us much .

The flashing CEL comes on about right away at 1500RPM and pretty much intermittently flashes on and off throughout or just stays solid CEL.

catch cans are really easy to make and you can make them out of just about any sealed container ( if you want vacuum to it).

Sounding to me that this may be an ignition problem?

I don't know how I can tell when the actual misfire codes are registered, I thought the fact that the CEL is flashing means it is a misfire?

do I need to write instructions about the instructions to follow the instructions on how to log?

you don't need a strut bar period, take it off

yes he does, he just hasn't looked up the code yet

you have an Accessport, look up the code using it

f'ing noobs

\edit: on 2nd thought I'm not sure if the AP will indicate a pending code if the CEL is not locked in the way some OBD readers will, but you're still an f'ing noob regardless

.

Yes, I had P0300 . Come on guys, give me some credit. But guess what? I just did the "test" reset procedure and the brake pedal reset and no more misfire codes, just the code for the O2, no air pump, and APV now I only took it for a spin around the block for a few minutes but no flashing CEL and no misfire code. I guess it was something with the sensor profiles.

I could take that both as a compliment or an insult. Far from a noob and just because I refuse to post in the nonsense of this forum to up my post count, that does not place me at the bottom of the totem pole. I lurk, and have always done so almost everyday since I've signed up.

Regardless, I saw how everyone was in search of a misfire (at light throttle no less), and you guys would've have torn your hair out trying to diagnosis that.

These have been very old topics that could have been found during Search, as you just found out. I'm surprised you guys aren't searching as much as you're telling noobs to search.

Anyways, off-topic, now fix that stuck APV issue via dannobre's method and get boosting. You may want to apply voltage to the motor manually to see if it works. Or cycle the key, as the APV does a check whenever it is cycled off (Car does not have to be running). Disconnect the others valves or use a sethoscope to listen for it.
