Yes he is semi-local (about a little less than 2 hours) and I am using the adaptronic ECU.
I don't know if he can/will do remote tuning, but his rebuilds are killer! He does a lot of 20B's and custom work, rotor plating and machining custom wheels.

Here's his club page:
RX8Club.com - View Profile: rotoryfreak
His FD is truly a work of art, and you can see his start up from last week on the FB page.

I never got the car to get past 6k rpms. I just got married in June and could afford to keep throwing my $ at it for the past 2 years. Its been sitting, waiting to be set up. I could post the map that Chip made for me from Chips Motorsports to see if someone sees something, but he had the car for a while and without starting from step one (taking everything off) he didn't really have anything else to help with.

I will say though, at 6k the car screams like a raped banshee and has so much more to give....I want to see it one day, but right now the car is a 8-10k paperweight sitting around.
My DD is an e90 M3, so it takes care of my needs, and when its time for kids, I can fit them in the back without moving seats.

So no love for RX-8 here.....
Its been 3 years sitting in my garage on wheel dolly's. I sold my M3 and jeeps. This is too hard to let go. Too much time and money into it.
One of these days I'll buy a new battery and get her started up and maybe take a quick spin before the fuzz see the plates are expired....of course nothing over 6k still.
