Lightbulb Anyone tried bridgeporting the exhaust?

I get the feeling this may have been done and either it was a disappointment or it worked so well that they are keeping it a secret.

Any theories?

My guess - It's bad for emissions but may be good for power.

I think it,s bad for not completing the exhaust cycle. Remember intake port bridgeporting makes 100-150 degrees more overlap and i don,t think you want overlap in the exhaust...

It's likely to be a year or two before I get to port one.
I plan to lay it out & explore the possibilities including beveling the closing & opening edges of the rotor.
We shall see..

that means you'll be able to research the idea out better over the next year or two

And what does that do for the rotors balance?

You can't bridgeport the exhaust. You'll hit the water jacket. Go to the "rebuilding my Renesis" thread and look for the pictures I posted that show why.

rotors can be rebalanced, there are other greater limiting issues than that
