I'd rather go with an SC that gives more of a boost in the lower rpms. A centrifugal would give some gains down low, but not a whole lot. It would rock up top though.
I guess it would really matter on the size of the compressor though huh? With such a high rev range, it would be hard to get a turbo / centrifugal that could work on so many levels.

My mustang has a procharger and while it doesnt put alot of low end (which isnt necessary with a torquey motor) it gains PSI linearly with RPM's. Which means instead of the boost drop off you would see with a turbo youd see a boost increase. But putting out max boost near redline might not be good with this car. It is proabably an easy install since youll only need to mount the bracket to the SC and IC. I wonder if its a blow thru or draw thru setup? It looks like they are using a FMU with some sort of inline fuel pump to boost fuel pressure under boost. Will this work with the computer?

On a large engine that has good low end and a narrower powerband, a centrifugal might be an option. The smaller the engine and the higher it revs, the less useful it becomes over the average powerband where it counts.
Centrifugals are not linear with rpm. They don't work that way. Boost rises with the square of the rpm. If you have 8 psi at 8000 rpm, you do not have 4 psi at 4000 rpm. You have less.
