So I guess you dont care to tell what adjustments you made?
I would aggree with you that once you go FI there really isnt a need to shift and jam the throttle open as fast as possible, even when watching in car race footage there is rarely ever a shift that is rushed forcefully, just smooth relaxed and controled shifts...

nice,,,
and does this affect your boost in terms or how it comes(how gradually it reaches full boost) or where it comes(further into the curve)? if this is starting to reveal anything you dont want to get into thats fine...
Maybe we're getting off subject to much, just curious and always trying to learn,,, end threadjack....

helmholtz tuning actually can create small amounts of boost. Slightly pressureized air is still compressible and therefore still is capable of having pressure waves and still resonates like ambient pressure air.

The throttle settings are arguably both the easiest to understand, and the safest to play with of any setting in the PCM. Mess with it and find some that you like for your particular driving style and application

The test below was done in an effort to tune the power band while keeping turbo as close as possible within its efficiency map
aux port opening at 6800
aux port blocked but small hole drilled in blocking plate
pressure at turbo 10 psi rising to 12psi from 7000 onwards
pressure at UIM 9.5 to 7000 then back to about 8 from there on
The pink line is with the port completely blocked
seems to have worked
the dip n the blue line at 6200 is possibly my wastegate opening slightly . Have noticed this does not happen on every run
