So, this is what one will stumble upon when sitting in a cafe all day, with nothing but time and interwebz!

Another great looking turbo solution...

That mount makes it look like there will be so much more clearance underneath...

I am hoping that gregs is keeping a low profile due to SS16...
Otherwise, any updates?

Yes I have! I'm still making some minor changes to the engine bay cosmetically and running a different injector setup, no negative feedaback to report with the quality an fitment of this kit.

Scott has been a huge help whether its ordering a last minute coupler or seeking information. I have been very satisfied.

Between my hectic work schedule, personal life and working on other cars its a time management battle getting things done.

Btw I just got a project I started this year on the road
I originally was going to rebuild the n/a motor and keep it completely stock but he mod bug got a hold of me! Full tear down and rebuilt.

Nice FC man.

Finding the time to install **** is definitely the biggest obstacle for me as well. It is easy to order **** though, i get disappointed when I don't have stuff waiting at home for me after work,

Haha sorry I feel bad for the lack of updates, I finally have been able to work on the car and now on a time crunch. Theres a local road course event in march I'm trying to participate in. Managed to get a turbo blanket around the turbine housing, this was not a easy task but should make a big impact with keeping the passenger cabin temps down.

Also with the exhaust tips the evo TT system is just to large for the shrouds and the factory exhaust hangers, ended up melting a section of my ings shrouds. These adjustable hangers allow me to evenly fit the exhaust, I hope this does the trick.

Man that is a tight fit. That blanket should help big time. I too have issues with my passenger side foot warmer , mine is getting pulled to address it once and for all.

I am using a product called fire blanket (buy it at lowes, Home Depot, Etc) and I am making it work on the turbo (can't find a blanket that will work with my turbo and coolant lines) and downpipe. I will be using iconel if I can find the right stuff on the fire wall. I was trying to wait and see if Hoss-05's shielding held up well in the long term but I need to install my S2 trans, clutch, and rebuild my turbo so I might as well just knock it all out at once.

Next time I'm @ Lowes I gotta look for that and see it in person.

I've been searching and reading about turbo's. Its been a dream of mine to build a turbo'ed car and i love my 8. I realize that the renesis engine has its issues with forced induction but i really feel as though the car deserves more power. My plain is to purchase this kit in the next 3-4 years, if it is still available. In the meantime i will be learning and studying as this will be my first turbo build. Looking forward to continued updates and please be specific about any problems or challenges you had in the process of your build, it will be much appreciated.
