Yea, thats why I didnt get a compression test before I installed the kit. I will try to get nomalized numbers to see how low they are. I still think I can get 300+ hp out of this motor once I get everything else taken care of.

Here are my DYNO's the top one is running on wastegate pressure and the bottom is running a manual boost controller. You can see how bad my coils are getting. With higher boost I was gaining no power in the top end. They are with fresh plugs.

I went back to PSF last night for a little road tuning. I had a little lean spot in light throttle. The car drives much better almost compleatly like stock. The transition into boost is very smooth. I plan on heading back there next month once I get the ignition upgrade done to get my water/meth kit installed as well as more tuneing. Ray said once we get some good spark we can get some "real" power out of the car.

I love going out there deff worth the 1.5 hr drive to see 20+ RX7's and 8's all over the place. He even has a 20b auto rx8 in the works. I snapped some pictures which I will try to get off my phone later.

The car is running, Ive put about 600 miles on it. I went with the BHR coils, Charles said they would be shipping out the week of march 16th. I plan on taking the car out at the end of March or the first week of april depending on when I get the coils and I get them installed.

cool, that sounds good, but i can' t wait for teh power that it can produce from teh set up that you have because my friend and i are looking at the kit, and we are wondering teh power that it can deliver from INT-X

Sorry about that... I could've sworn I saw it in the thread somewhere.

All the same... good luck with the new coils / tune. I'm very interested in seeing some good data on the SFR kit.

What temp was it when you dynoed your car? I dynoed my car in the 60'f temp and I got 264 at 6psi with similar setup (modified SFR kit)

There arnt many updates yet the car is having issues and will only rev to 4k rpms. I hope my BHR coils show up early this week so I can see if a bad coil is the issue. I havent had a chance to really clean up the engine bay, its almost as dirty as before

It was about 40'f outside when i had it on the dyno. I just had really bad coils

I have an appointment on April 14th to get the car re-tuned and a meth kit installed. I will update as soon as I get the new results.

Fixed and relocated the OMP wires. While I had the uppipe off I decided to re-wrap it and coat it. It turned out really well. Splicing the wires fixed the problem and the car runs great.

The issue I have now is a missfire in boost. It appears around 5psi the car stumbles and I have to pull off the gass. Im worried to mess around with it too much and cause damage. I added about 13oz of oil to the car when the OMP was out, perhaps too much oil is causing the issue.

Yes this was the first test running the BHR kit. The car sounds much smoother. Its actually a little harder to start but it sounds better and the response is much better even out of boost. I'm hoping its just the amount of oil in the gas.

I had misfires with the BHR kit--sent it back to ray and the plug wires are the culprit it seems. I have yet to get it back and test it. Hopefully you didn't unplug the plug wires from the coil end...supposedly it ruins it the first time it is pulled.

I decided to buy a new set of stock coils since I had an appointment af PFS today and couldnt get another until the end of May. I had a turbo timer and a Water/Meth kit installed while I was there as well as a re-tune. The car put down 301 at the wheels at 8.6psi. Its raining out so I didnt get a chance to see what the butt dyno thinks. I will post my dyno when I get it.

Dyno looks alot like the previous ones. Starts making boost around 3k, at full boost by 4k. Ray said he would have my graphs to me tomorrow morning. What suprized me is how much faster and more responsive the new coils made the turbo spooling. When I mash it there is much less lag.

Good to see you made some decent numbers out of it. I have been watching your ordeal with the ignition system.
