Billet FD Style throttle body?
Hello,i have a new product i just design and its an FD style Billet throttle body(Copy Right)......
I just wanted to promote my product since there was no other way to get one for myself so i built them,LOL.I know i have like 2 post Since 2005(working my *** off, going racing and testing) but i have been creating powerful rotaries and fabrication for over 15 years.
Well i just wanted some feedback on this TB.......I have Machines to make almost anything high quality.I am working on an FC throttle body too plus have lots of new products coming out for 2010, and its gonna be some of the craziest stuff you ever see.Maybe some feedback on an RX8 TB,what you guys think?
I have had 2 Rx8's but never had the chance to turbo them or make them more powerful yet.Now its the chance to make something better like a TB or something,Let me know if there is interest, some R&D.

billet is a bit overkill, and in all honesty drives the cost up due to tooling and larger block of material. IMO, a cast and polished, or forged unit would be the better / least expensive way to make something like this. The cheaper you can make them and sell them for, the more you'll sell.
I would contact some local forges for an estimate on a cast or forge since you seem to have a base unit, and since it's billet, you probably already have a CNC map for it, so they can also use that to estimate rough development costs. Then all you'd have to do is finish each part instead of mill them completely out.

you can throw "billet" in front of anything these days and people will buy it. it's definitely a trendy thing.
As for the actual product, it would need to be coupled with an upper intake manifold that has a decent amount of plenum volume for FI applications.

Well for the new intake its gonna be for those who want to switch to full alcohol , ethanol or Gas a combination(starting with the REW style).I am gonna make this manifold in stock 4 port style to Semi P-Port models with smooth casting runners. My manifold is gonna be engineered to use the extra injectors bungs or NOT to use with the use of special block of plates.
I know i always get people saying in advanced and say "no its not go work,Why all that"Well the reason for all this,is i have been tinkering with rotaries my whole life, actually 2nd generation rotary head...........I have the data i collected from my own personal race cars.Seeing is Believe it or not my Race car runs 12 160lbs injectors on methanol with a huge 91mm turbo boosting 45psi boost making serious HP,45 psi boost is nothing now days for top tuners in the world.I want to make a product that can surpass this new trend.
That intake on my race car is over 12 years old that i design and hand fabricated with a similar design.I used it for many races and even today with no problems and even back in days to today the trend is to make power,Larger turbos more air and fuel make more power.........
Now days its taken me many years to save and invest on technology for the latest in manufacturing....I have the ability to make it in volume and share this technology not
like others who hide their secret.I purchase my own dyno and do all my testing in house
and track for consistency.
I know u can use the quick and easy mist machines, but you can only get so much out of it.....
NO2 will flow really good with the new Intake manifold.
Here is a link to my other parts i have done........
MY new line of products is now called Rotary-Works,new online store.

Yes, yes, yes build this and lets keep on trying to move our Rennie past other engines out there! Come on guys why would you discourage someone who wants to try to make something that could help make our car better? What we don't remember where we've been? I remember people saying this engine could never be FI. Post up pic's as you make this happen, I would aprieciate it!

been a while i haven't been here...been working hard on all kinds of parts for the Rotary engine(all Rx7 gens mostly but some will accommodate the Rx8) .....Here is a list of what i been doing.
Titanium engine nut and bolts(6oz)both,half the weight of the stock steel(12oz) ,equates to about a 1/2 pound difference. Now the Renesis crank is already 1/2 pound lighter why not another 1/2 pound.
Titanium engine stud kits for 13B(i know they are not been used on the Rx8 for flex problems YET,but in the future there will be needed to push more power)
Titanium Exhaust sleeves for the 13B TT,20B.....(larger diameter design CNC ported)
Turbo 2 billet Throttle body.....Single 80mm straight bolt on to stock location(uses Rx7 tt TPS)....
Racing Oil coolers for the First gen , 2nd gen 3rd gen(Rx8 on the works)
Radiators Rx2 Rx3 Rx7 1st,2nd and 3rd gen(Rx8 in the works)These are all 3 row and up to 4 pass.
Stainless mufflers 3" bore polish stainless steel.(cat back on the works for Rx7 and Rx8)
