Dyno and exhaust pics

Ok here is the dyno graph. I have the Greddy kit, Type RS BOV, and custom 3" turbo back exhaust with no cat. Problems that I am having now are the following:
- Running lean at around 7,000 RPms
-My temp gauge goes limp
-boosting at 9 psi peak

They guy at the dyno said that I needed to get a new fuel pump since he couldnt richen it up on top because he did not have any more fuel pressure. The car started pinging at around 7000 so he had to let off. Also, I found out that the fans were not working because of a Vtech feature on the Emanage map that caused my fans to turn off and subsequently overheated my car.

I'm considering putting my stock cat back on or a high flow cat. Also wondering if getting the emanage ultimate would help and I can then leave the cat delete pipe on. Right now the car is pretty much sitting in front of my house until I can figure out what to do.

Power is pretty good, but there is a lot of fluctuation.

Nope... you'd be surprised actually how much people ping and not even know it. It's not the fact that it DOES ping, its the size and intensity of the ping.

The newer the engine/seals also will allow them to handle ping better. It could have put a tiny crack in a seal that will cause it to wear faster, but doesn't necessarily mean the engine is done for at this point. Could take tens of thousands of miles before the wear shows.

Why do you feel the need to point out that the car has the Shinka trim kit?? like it is a different car or something???

Never understood that.

Alright man, I can understand why you pointed this out. I have been to the Shinka thread and do feel there is some sensationalism going on. Its not a big deal, this is my second 8 and yeah, apart from it handling bettter stock for stock, it is the same car.

Yeah man, that is one thing I did not like in my 04, the combo of materials on the seat. Oh, here are some pics of my exhaust. Maganaflow mufflers, 3" piping with CAT delete.

i just got my Greddy turbo kit installed.... i havent had a problem yet, so maybe u should ask or see the guy who installed it.... from what i heard and from what BlueRen said, if it pings it usually means ur engine is burned out...take it to a dealer and get it tested... Good luck bro

Uhhmmm, NO! It means you need tuning.
Take it to the dealer with a turbo in it and they'll laugh at you. (Unless you've got serious hook-ups.)

My engine is not burned out, where did this "If it pings, it means it is burned out" theory come from? As Adrian said, I need tuning. Tuning coming from something like an Interceptor. The only reason I believe Iam having these problems is because of the cat delete and exhaust. I didnt have these problems with the stock exhaust. Too bad Mazport is closed until Jan 2nd

You are running much leaner now that your exhaust is more free flowing. You'll get better results with the interceptor, but for now I'd suggest you richen your emanage up a little in the range you are pinging, before you are put on the blown engine list.

Thats what I had thought, after installing the exhaust with the O2 sim, I drove it to get tuned and I didnt go into boost the whole way there. Unfortunately the guy tuning my emanage told me that he could not add anymore fuel on top. He said to get an aftermarket fuel pump. Im going for the interceptor instead.

Greedy turbo + R flash = needing Interceptor, no alternative - I will be getting mine right after New Years and bringing it to KDR Performance to tune.
