As my mom said, "when things take longer than wanted, you have more time looking forward to it, and appreciate it more when its done".
Had her son been half as wise....

Can't wait to see the full system completed and fitted to a car.
Interestingly some the o specialists you may have mentioned in the past have gone very quiet on the turbo front...
Wonder if there is a link

My car has been running for a couple of years with the system, have you seen the pics ?
Not sure who the specialists are you are talking about ?
In other news : I sent out another manifold this week to a guy in the US (is on this site) . Hopefully that one will get fitted fairly quickly and we'll hear how it goes in a few months.
The rest of the first batch are still at the machinist . The second batch has been cast and goes off to the machinist soon also.
Kinda looking like I may end up with a whole heap of them ready all at once

Update : of sorts .
Finally got an ETA from the engineers. Not this coming week but the week after they are scheduled in to be done . Still disappointing from my perspective as these constant delays have taken away much of my initial excitement at the prospect of seeing people get there systems running.
Had a look around several of the engineers in my area to see about getting the second batch done sooner rather than later. The story is the same everywhere ..... orders backed up , staff shortages ...long waits!
Had a good hard drive today and I have to say ..... anyone that gets their system to what mine is doing on stock engine/pumpgas ..........will definitely NOT be disappointed! Local guy in a highly modded EVO X I met recently would be inclined to agree with me.
Tempted to dyno it as is at 10psi ...just as a reference point for those wanting results using a stock engine ...................

Also, a 95RON street tune dyno would be excellent, 98 becomes increasingly difficult to source. My thought was that a tune for 95RON street, would be safe on the track, using 98RON. Convenience...
BTW, did you ditch the exhaust porting, or do you still have the small groove that opens quite early? Please excuse my ignorance, I've lost track, I just remember you and Team had a discussion, Team meant you used the end of expansion to spool turbo. Quite possible, but still not a bad idea at first glance, really.

Should get them physically in my possession day after tomorrow.
One went bananas so might be a reject unfortunately, although I can probably pull my one out and swap it over if I need to.
Should get the first six away early next week but I have some fabricating to do for the remainder.

I went for a drive yesterday with the design engineer (Grant Udy) who did all the 3d modelling/printing and arranged the casting etc. He has a couple of performance cars and is very much into the car mod. scene. It was a wet day so we didn't get to wring its neck but he was super impressed with the response and OEM like drivability.
Which reminds me .... tweaking the throttle maps played a huge part in the drivability equation! This isn't something I normally do in a remote tune but should do with these I think.

77 cylinders, 4 rotors...
Brett,
Great job getting this from idea to metal.
Nice to see more development on this engine.
I'm not a turbo guy, but if I was...

For a turbo, few people realise that you don't need much throttle on the stock maps to give you near full power. I see it all the time when people are doing logs for me ....they seem to think that holding throttle back will somehow save their engine from damage. WRONG !
Watch the friggin' boost gage, if it says 10psi at the uim ... you are running 10psi and probably shouldn't be (if on pump gas) !
