Putting on the ks doesn't have to be boring. Took her over to the beach for a swim this evening.
Learnt a few things:
*I can make it pulse like a bridgeport REW or idle just like stock ...just by changing setup and tune.
*Runs almost as smooth as stock in general driving
*Fuel comsumption looks like it's going to be at least as good as stock if not better.

I've probably milked this for long enough now so here goes .
Technical details :
It's bridgeported and has small peripheral exhaust ports ................. so there is a **** ton of overlap but relatively small ports. Not terribly exciting but should make a difference.
Will start by venting the PPs to atmosphere (not as noisy as you might think because they open so much later than the side ports) and using the wastegate to control when that happens.

*Stops all the "that wont work" and negative banter .... (see my turbo thread for example)
*Prevents idea from being copied by fellow enthusiasts before it is properly tested.
*Prevents it being copied by tuning shops and promoted as their own idea.
So it makes sense to keep the details sketchy . Even now I'm sure there will be some people that have figured out what I've done as I've given most of it away and it's just filling in the blanks. But i'm close enough to actually testing it now so not particularly concerned.
Also : going full MM would mean throwing in piles of BS ...and I'm not into that.

Do i get a cookie on being the first one to predict a peripheral port, albeit slightly different? I did delete the post though as to not spoil everything
Can i start drilling on my engine while it is in the engine bay? On the sides right?
Looking forward to more videos. Nonetheless this is very interesting Brett.

You know what vtec is right ?What i'm doing will be similar except i'll be turning on the overlap at the desired rpm with a wastegate vs with cam angle change. In general though large overlap is better suited to N/A applications unless you run a huge (laggy) turbine and have emap lower than Imap.

Now the groupies rush in laughing along with you, just like the good old MM days. Ok then ... wishing you the best for achieving your goal.
