Hi Brett

Sounds pretty good to me, I will look forward to having a ride in that beast sometime again soon.

Brett you're the man. I love vicariously through you, fazda, and damn I can't remember his name but he uses an old PTP KIT...anyways keep up the good work. I remember when everyone claimed the greddy kit to be crap.

Not far off it .. 16- 17 at 7500 . Peak is the same as before - mid-range is higher

Without significant modification ... it is really . But it shouldn't be underrated as a good place to start.

Brett are you basing your figures off the virtual dyno stuff?

Nice to see that the renesis can handle such boost. What upgrades have you done to the engine to cope with such boost. I assume blowby will be a big issue unless you are running race spec seals precision built with very tight tolerances.

That plus the increase in g/s since my last (362whp) dyno . On that dyno g/s was approx same as whp but dyno was optimistic by 35-40whp.
G/s are now up 40-50 on what I had on dyno day (to 410-420)

350 is being conservative IMO

Blowby may have been contributing to the excessive oil I was getting in my catch can as discussed earlier in the thread . These days I run oil at 1/2 way up the dipstick and have not seen the problem again . The thing to remember is that I have not driven it on the track like this . If I did ....... I would expect to have major issues .......

Great progress Brett!!!! No knock at that boost? What ignition are you running? At 15psi I was starting to get misfires.

The whole idea of the W/M was to enable me to push it as far as it would go, wasn't it ? . According to the flow chart , It's still within the capabilities of the compressor......

Wasn't talking about the turbo . I wouldn't push those 10:1 rotors beyond 20 psi even with water/meth. Add some race fuel in there and thats another story

no knock . I'm running D585 coils .

What is interesting to me is how much load (vs mine) you were making at lower psi than what I'm running .
Is my turbo/pipework THAT much less efficient ?
Is there an anomaly in your maf scaling/maf setup ?
What will be the difference on the road ...VD isn't showing me a lot?

Got ya . I doubt that this turbo would go to 20 at peak rpm anyway.

I will post up details on my MAF and pipes soon. In short I am running stock intake diameter for the MAF pipe all the way until it hits the compressor where it increases up to 4". MAF curve in ATR is stock to the original stock end, then extrapolated out to 5V.

10:1 rotors don't matter.... while I rarely draw on on piston counterparts ad examples but there are plenty of guys running 10.5:1 compression running upwards of 30psi on piston engines. the weak point is seals and tuning for us in my opinion. both of which Brett has addressed

Comparing piston compression to rotary compression is like comparing an apple and a piece of metal.
