That ebay manifold would benefit from smoother transition of the front primary into the collector/flange if room permitted.

WG placement and pipe sizing look pretty good.

yes, I didn't ask, but I'm assuming so. Precisions aren't exactly known for being bullet proof.

Damn, well regardless of how he got along with others and how many people had "opinions" of him.... it sucks losing someone from the forum who has been around as long as he was. My view at least....

Haha hey you weren't the only one... the guy thrived on it; it's only his fault for going to far.

Wrapped in a sarcasm, filled with condescension, and covered by razors blades.

His location was "under your skin" for a long time, but it seems he let a lot of people get under his skin.

Back on-topic, I'm looking forward to the results of this experiment. I'm finally have all the pieces and I'm ready to turbo my car, albeit with an ordinary Greddy manifold. Every bit more knowledge we gain helps me boost better.

It's not a permaban folks. He should be back in a few days.

BTW, I've been lurking in the background a lot lately. Been on and off with wanting to sell my car. Your thread has me leaning towards "keep it and boost already!". Thanks for all the info here Bret. Looking fwd to results.

I vote keep it!!! Our cars don't hold their value anyway

If it was a permaban I was going to suggest an "in memory of" thread. He's gotta be going nuts not being able to reply to all the posts that he would deem flagrant n00b tardedness. He can be very helpful but if he can dish out the sarcasm he should be able to take it too

you're only changing the exhaust housing though yes? or is it all the paraphernalia that needs to be removed to get the turbo off?

Not sure how to take this ?
This new setup is new to me and I haven't pulled it apart before. If you know how it is to install a Greddy turbo .... it's about twice as hard as that.

Turbo is all ready to go back in . Just getting ready to do battle again

Noticed the Siamese sleeve is starting to crack so will have to address this . Good thing that I have a removable sleeve
