did find the acceptable limit for 60mm ID intake tube . It's good up to around 320g/s .....
FWIW I managed to hit 330g/sec with my old turbo with the Greddy intake. Ooooh, light bulb moment -> this will further reduce exhaust back pressure at the given flow rate. Choice bro! |

your disappointed with 411..... .......walks off mumbling.... Just as a indication ..... Matchbot shows a reduction in turbo shaft power required of 50hp@14psi dropping from 7psi vacuum down to 1 . Had a look at it in some detail yesterday .......... looks like flexi ducting is the only possible way I can do it as the hose will have to squash to get through the gap between the manifold and engine mount. |
Will the squished section effect anything?

Only now catching up with this, nice work Brett. Impressive figures. I'm soon to be starting mine following the same lines. I'm happy you got everything sorted. Big thumbs up. :)

Word to the wise, don't search ebay for "80mm silicone" on your work PC. Whole different product range. |
