BUR9EQ/BUR7EQ Sparks A+++
I just installed these about an hour ago and I must say, I'm impressed. Better idling and a better WOT. I picked these up at NAPA but you can get these anywhere, just ask for 93 RX7 spark plugs. They cost me about $7 each (2 leading and 2 trailing). The length is a bit different, they are actually about a 1/2 longer than the RE9B/RE6C but that shouldn't be a problem.

i already posted on using the rx7 plugs... i've been doing it in customer cars for a few years.
only downside is they wear out faster.
*edit* only NOTICABLE downside...

Go Texas Longhorns!
i'm running them with no issue.
I'm going to just change them every 12K. for $30, it still cheaper than changing the other plugs every 25K and your plugs are fresher.

i haven't noticed the platinum plugs lasting any longer than the standards.
i wish ngk made a bur10eq...everything the same as the rx7 plugs, just in a colder heat range. and then maybe iridium on top of it.

Time to get new ones, after what? 2 weeks.

I can only find the bur9eq and the 7eq in platinum. Is running the platinums a problem if I have a turbo? And how much colder are these plugs from stock?
